Sam Stephens
Client Service Associate
Sam serves as the firm’s liaison for operational issues and ongoing account servicing needs. In his role as a Client Services Associate, he plays an integral function on the team in providing exceptional benefits for a client’s day-to-day requests.
Sam, a United States Marine, served honorably and with pride overseas in the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. After leaving the Marines, he began a 17 plus year career in finance with a focus on the client service experience. He previously worked at JP Morgan Chase in Branch Management as well as a Client Associate at JP Morgan Securities. Prior to joining Bordeaux, Sam worked with a wealth management team inside JP Morgan Securities. He was instrumental in helping that team start their own firm, where he continued to work alongside the Managing Partners to develop the operational aspects of the new firm.
As a veteran, Sam pursued his bachelor’s degree in tandem with his career, ending at the University of Oklahoma. Sam was the founding member of the California chapter of V.E.T.S (Voices for Employees That Served), a business resource group for returning veterans, and served as President. An avid runner, he won his first marathon in the Bahrain desert while deployed with the Marines. Sam lives in the Bay Area with his wife and daughter.
