Miles joined Bordeaux Wealth Advisors in March 2022 and works out of their Silicon Valley office. Prior to Bordeaux, Miles worked at a public accounting firm in Carmel, California, and served a dual role there as a tax accountant and investment advisor. During his tenure, he worked with high-net-worth clients providing tax preparation, investment management, and various forms of financial planning, including tax, cash-flow, retirement, gift, and estate planning. He enjoys building relationships with his clients, educating them on financial concepts, and being a trusted family advisor.
Miles graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) with a B.S. in business administration with a focus in accounting and was president of the Accounting Society there. He has been a regular guest speaker at CSUMB’s accounting classes and a recurring panelist at its annual Careers in Finance speaker series. He is certified by the CFP board, and the American College of Financial Services, is an Enrolled Agent admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, and holds a California Life, Accident, and Health insurance license. He is also a Financial Professional member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
Originally a native of San Jose, California, Miles has lived at several locations around the South Bay area and Central California Coast. He is passionate about traveling, wellness, and loves cooking. He is an avid reader of materials on investing, philosophy, social science, and is a believer in ethical, environmental, and sustainable business practices.
