Derek began his journey with Bordeaux in June of 2024. Prior to his start, Derek competed as a professional golfer for five years on multiple tours all over the globe. These tours consisted of the PGA Tour of Australasia, Challenge Tour and DP World Tour. He was able to win one worldwide recognized event in May of 2022 in Melbourne, Australia which helped propel him to 654 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Derek graduated from Santa Clara University in 2019 with a B.S. in Finance from the Leavey School of Business. While completing his degree, Derek was a four-year starter for the Santa Clara Men’s golf team while on scholarship.
Derek grew up and still resides in Half Moon Bay, California. He enjoys his time golfing, playing pickleball, hiking, wine tasting and spending time at the beach.
