Derek began his journey with Bordeaux in June of 2024. Prior to his start, Derek competed as a professional golfer for five years on multiple tours all over the globe. These tours consisted of the PGA Tour of Australasia, Challenge Tour and DP World Tour. He claimed victory in a worldwide recognized event in May of 2022 in Melbourne, Australia, which helped propel him to No. 654 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Derek graduated from Santa Clara University in 2019 with a B.S. in Finance from the Leavey School of Business. While completing his degree, Derek was a four-year starter for the Santa Clara Men’s Golf team while on scholarship.
Derek grew up in Half Moon Bay, California and is now residing in Redwood City, just down the street from Bordeaux’s Menlo Park office. He enjoys golfing, snowboarding, hiking and spending his time at the beach during summer months.
